SEPTEMBER 22, 2026 Does Red Light Therapy Work, and Why Does the Price Range From $60 to $1,200? Red light therapy panels run from about $50 for a handheld unit to well over $1,200 for a full-body array, all promising some version of the same benefits. The clinical evidence is genuinely strong for exactly one use case that has nothing to do with a home panel, real but modest for a couple of things people actually buy these for, and weak or backwards for most of what gets marketed. And independent measurement has found $1,200 panels overstating their light output by roughly the same margin as $60 ones.
