Serah

The daughter of Asher, named at Numbers 26:46 in the middle of a roll of sons, for no stated reason. ⭐ Searched across the archived text she stands in exactly three verses of the Hebrew Bible — Genesis 46:17, this one, and 1 Chronicles 7:30 — and all three are genealogies that otherwise list men. Nothing is ever said about her. ⚠ That silence is what generated an enormous later tradition: rabbinic sources make her the one who told Jacob that Joseph was alive, and have her survive into the exodus and beyond, precisely because a name preserved in three lists across centuries with no story attached is an invitation to supply one. The Bible supplies none.
