tom תֹּם tom

Integrity, wholeness — the noun of tamim (17:1's 'blameless'). Abimelech pleads it ('in the integrity of my heart,' 20:5) and God confirms it (20:6): in Gerar the tom belongs to the pagan king, and the scheming to the prophet. → first discussed at Gen 20:5
