A genuinely uncertain word for the outer covering-skins of the tabernacle (25:5) — the leading candidates are a marine mammal (dolphin, seal, or dugong, from an Arabic cognate applied to those animals in the Red Sea) or, in the older KJV/Luther tradition, 'badger' (a phonological guess, since badgers neither live in Sinai nor yield hides large enough for a tent covering).
