STUBBORNNESS — specifically of a heart set on its own way, always in the fixed phrase sherirut libo/libam, ‘the stubbornness of his/their heart’. Checked against the whole archived Hebrew Bible, the phrase itself stands in exactly eight verses: this one and seven in Jeremiah alone (3:17, 7:24, 9:13, 13:10, 16:12, 18:12, 23:17 — the last two already on these pages) — and nowhere else in the whole Hebrew Bible. ⚠ Two further matches for the bare three-consonant string, Ezra 2:65 and Nehemiah 7:67, are a wholly different word (‘singers’, from the root for singing) caught only by shared letters, not the word itself. → first discussed at Deut 29:18
