To SWARM, teem — the creation-word for life multiplying (Genesis 1:20, the waters 'swarm with swarms'; 9:7, Noah told to 'swarm'). Exodus 1:7 stacks it into the five-verb increase — Israel 'were fruitful, and SWARMED, and multiplied, and grew mighty' — so the opening of the bondage is the CREATION BLESSING still at full volume on a slave people.
