To TREMBLE, be stirred up, be agitated — and, by an easy extension, to QUARREL. Joseph's last words to his brothers as they leave for Canaan: 'AL TIRGEZU BA-DEREKH — do not be agitated on the way' (45:24). The range is the whole interest. Read one way it is reassurance: don't be afraid, nothing will happen to you. Read the other it is a warning he has good reason to give — don't spend the entire journey arguing about whose idea the pit was; the old Jewish reading, and the one behind KJV's 'see that ye fall not out by the way.' NIV and ESV both choose 'quarrel'; NWT 'do not get upset.' This translation keeps AGITATED, which is where the Hebrew sits, and leaves the reader holding both. → first discussed at Gen 45:24
