OF THE MORNING, early. ⚠ It occurs twice in the New Testament and both are in Revelation, at the two ends of the book: 'I will give him the MORNING STAR' — the promise to the church at Thyatira (2:28) — and 'I am the bright MORNING STAR' at 22:16. The first promise the book makes and its last self-description are the same object. (The Latin for the morning star, lucifer, was later attached to a very different figure by way of Isaiah 14:12; nothing in Revelation connects them.) → first discussed at Rev 22:16
