A BRIDE, and also a daughter-in-law — the young wife, seen from the household she is joining. ⚠ Revelation 21:9 has an angel promise to show John 'the BRIDE, the wife of the Lamb', and what John is then shown is a city with a wall. The book does this deliberately: the other woman in it is also a city (Babylon, chapter 17), introduced by an angel with a bowl in the same words.
