The PURSUED — a passive participle of radaph, to chase or persecute. ⚠ Ecclesiastes 3:15's closing clause, 'and God seeks out ha-NIRDAF', is genuinely undecidable: either God seeks out the PERSECUTED, which is a moral claim, or he seeks out what has been DRIVEN AWAY, i.e. the past — which fits the cycles the verse has just described ('what has been already is'). The versions divide and none is obviously right. → first discussed at Ecclesiastes 3:15
