WILLING OF HEART, literally 'noble of heart' — the phrase this chapter reaches for three separate times to describe why anyone gives anything at all: 'whoever is of a willing heart' (35:5), 'as many as were willing-hearted' (35:22), and a kindred verb, 'whose spirit made him willing' (35:21).
