THE SERVANT OF JEHOVAH — the title Deuteronomy 34:5 gives Moses at the exact moment of his death, one chapter after ish ha-Elohim, ‘the man of God’, the title the Torah gives him exactly once, in 33:1. Unlike that rarity, eved Yehovah is common — searched across the whole archived Hebrew Bible the bare phrase stands in 22 verses, and it later recurs of Joshua himself after his own death (Joshua 24:29, not yet on these pages) — so this is not a title reserved for Moses alone.
