A district in the south of the hill country of Judah, named in the summary of the southern campaign, all the land of Goshen as far as Gibeon (Joshua 10:41, now on these pages), again at Joshua 11:16, and with a town called Goshen among Judah’s hill towns at 15:51 (neither yet on these pages). ⚠ It has nothing to do with the Goshen in Egypt where Jacob’s family settled; the Hebrew spelling is the same. Where it lay is not known.
