The Beautiful Gate approximate

A gate of the Jerusalem temple where a man lame from birth was healed by Peter and John (Acts 3:2-10) — named only here in the New Testament. ⚠ Its exact identity among the temple's several gates is not fixed by the text; the strongest ancient candidate is the great bronze Nicanor Gate on the temple's eastern side, between the Court of the Gentiles and the Court of Women, which Josephus rated more valuable than the gold- and silver-plated gates around it. Other proposals include the Shushan Gate (the temple's eastern entrance, facing the Mount of Olives) or one of the Huldah Gates on the south. None is certain.
